At Sigrheim, some Tennessee Folk gathered in April to celebrate Earth Day. They camped out the day before the moot to spend as much time with the land and the Folk that came. The weather was fine, and while they did enjoy a minor rainstorm, the scents and sounds of the verdant land were beautiful to behold. The land has promise, but it will take a lot of work from us all! Anything worth having takes hard work. The old axiom "Put in the blood, sweat, and elbow grease." The future is promising, but we will have to work hard to achieve this goal and continue to pursue it. Since then, our first pioneer living on the property has been the first to break ground and make preparations for the time to come. We've got a couple more brave adventurers too coming later this month or first of next to call Sigrheim home!
And of course, we hope that you can join us in July for Sigrblót at Sigrheim, the first of many, many bigger events at our Home of Victory!
